At Pharm-Assist, we believe in supporting the incredible locum pharmacists and dispensers who keep pharmacies running smoothly. That’s why we’ve launched the Giving Back Campaign, a unique initiative to thank you for your loyalty.

For every shift you book through Locate-a-Locum where you nominate Pharm-Assist as your supporting agency, you’ll earn £1 back.

Your earnings will depend on how often you work shifts where Pharm-Assist is nominated as your agency. For example:

• 5 days a week for 1 month = around £20 extra income.

• 5 days a week for 1 year (minus 30 days off for holidays, bank holidays, or personal time) = around £230 extra income.

It might not sound huge at first, but this is an additional payment on top of your normal locum earnings. For many locums, it’s a nice bonus that builds up passively across the year - almost like a loyalty reward for simply nominating us.

You can nominate Pharm-Assist through your Locate-a-Locum profile. The process takes just a few minutes:

1. Log in to your Locate-a-Locum account.

2. Go to your Profile Settings.

3. Select Supporting Agency and choose Pharm-Assist.

If you’re not sure how to do this, you can contact us directly. Just send an email to locums@pharm-assist.co.uk and we’ll provide step-by-step guidance to get you set up correctly.

Commission payments are processed once a month, between the 1st and 15th of the following month. For example, if you work eligible shifts in May, your campaign payment will arrive in June.

This clear timeline ensures you can easily track when to expect your additional income.

Payments are made via BACS directly into your nominated bank account. Once you register for the Giving Back Campaign, we’ll securely store your bank details and use them for all future payments - no need to resubmit them each month.

You’ll receive £1 for every eligible shift where Pharm-Assist is nominated as your agency through Locate-a-Locum. There are no limits on how many shifts you can claim for - the more you work, the more you earn.

Every month we send out a detailed report showing exactly how many eligible shifts you’ve worked and how much you’ve earned. Whether you’ve nominated us for one shift or twenty, you’ll always know what’s owed. This level of transparency helps you track your rewards with ease.

You can nominate Pharm-Assist as your supporting agency for shifts booked through Locate-a-Locum with specific pharmacy providers. Once you register for the campaign, we’ll give you a list of participating providers so you know exactly where your nominations will count.

Your bank details are stored securely in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, which offers industry-leading security. This means:

• Multiple layers of network and storage protection.

• Strict physical access controls.

• Regular security audits to keep your data safe.

We take every precaution to make sure your financial information is handled responsibly.

The Giving Back Campaign is designed to run indefinitely so locums can continue benefiting long-term. However, we review the scheme periodically to ensure it stays fair and sustainable. Pharm-Assist reserves the right to make changes or end the scheme, but we will always provide at least 30 days’ notice if that happens.

No - the campaign is completely free to join. All rewards are paid by Pharm-Assist and do not cost you anything. The only responsibility you have is to declare any additional income to HMRC as part of your self-employment tax return.

That’s absolutely fine. You can still be part of the campaign, even if you work with other agencies. Only the shifts where you nominate Pharm-Assist as your supporting agency will qualify for the £1 reward.

Yes. You can opt out at any time by emailing locums@pharm-assist.co.uk. Once any outstanding payments have been processed, we will remove your bank details and personal information from our system.
