How It Works:

By analysing individual gaps shared by pharmacy providers, our advanced algorithms identify patterns and opportunities to consolidate single shifts into extended block bookings. Utilising sophisticated mapping software, we ensure that locums are matched with block bookings in their prefered locations or regions that are paying the highest rates.

We recognise the importance of comfort and a positive experience for locums working away from home. That’s why we provide comprehensive support in finding suitable accommodation. Leveraging our extensive contacts within the travel industry, we often secure better prices than those advertised online. We believe stay-away locums greatly appreciate this additional support, allowing them to focus on their professional and family time rather than spending hours searching for lodging.

We partner with Mencap, a preferred charity organisation and advocate for learning disabilities, to help locums obtain their enhanced DBS Checks effortlessly. Our commitment to making services easily accessible contributes to our outstanding customer satisfaction ratings.

Your privacy and security are paramount to us. We never share your personal information unless it's necessary to secure a booking, and even then, we only provide your name, GPhC number, and base location. To comply with UK employment law and our client Service Level Agreements, we securely retain certain verification documents. However, we never share these documents with anyone without your explicit permission. Rest assured, your documents are stored on a secure server and are not accessible online. This is our way of saying thank you for your hard work and loyalty. For every shift you book through the Locate-a-Locum platform and nominate Pharm-Assist as your agency, you’ll earn £1 per booking. It’s our small gesture to give back to the amazing locums we’re proud to work with.

How It Works:

1. Nominate Pharm-Assist as your agency when booking shifts directly on Locate-a-Locum (Boots only currently).

2. Complete your shift as usual.

3. Earn £1 for each booking, paid directly into your bank account after the booking is confirmed and payment received.
